Autumn

Autumn leaves are falling down
Red, orange, gold, silver and brown,
Autumn's carpet on the ground.
Bold and bright, crunchy and mushy
Beautiful flowers that are Autumn ones
Are pretty, bright, different colours.
Pick up a leaf and hear it crunch
Just like when you're eating some lunch.

Autumn Leaves

Autumn leaves are falling down
Red, orange, gold, yellow and brown.
Autumn leaves blowing around
Landing gently on the ground.
Bold and bright, crunchy and light
Watch them fall from quite a height.
Some slushy and mushy when it rains
See them blowing and filling drains.
Pick up a leaf and hear it crunch
Just like when you're eating some lunch.

Lake Taupo Easter

We drove to Taupo for five nights. My favourite memory was...I was sitting in my bed singing Easter bunny is coming tonight. I was smiling and laughing then it was Easter. I thought he hadn't got me any Easter eggs but they were just hiding at the bottom of my bed on the carpet. There in front of me - Easter eggs scattered across the floor leaving a trail to the other Easter eggs sitting on top of the stairs.
Yum!!!
It looked scrumptious.

The Mystery of the Kuranui School Pen Thief!!!

Our absentminded teacher, Ms Daniels, is always forgetting what she has done with her pens and highlighters. We discovered that we have a "Pen Thief" at Kuranui School; the thief snuck silently in to our classroom and snatched Ms Daniels's pens right in the middle of our Word Work lesson. Luckily our cameras caught a few images of her stealthily sauntering around our school.

We talked about how we could catch the Pen Thief and thought that filling in a SuspiciousPersons Report might help.
Our writing Walt (we are learning to...) was:

- Use adjectives to describe how someone looks.

How do you think we did? Please feel free to leave constructive comments.
